Acquired with the intention of speculatively developing a 55,000 sq ft warehouse. With no competing supply and extensive demand, we secured the largest independent UK furniture retailer as a tenant for a single 55,000 sq ft warehouse within six months of acquisition and before construction started.
In November 2016, the 2015 Fund exchanged with LondonMetric Property PLC in the forward sale of Gatwick 55 for £10.71 million reflecting a 5.03% net initial yield. Colliers International represented Barwood Capital and Goya Developments on the sale.
