Barwood Capital awarded silver accreditation from Investors in People
Barwood Capital has been awarded a ‘We invest in people’ silver accreditation from Investors in People.
Investors in People is an independent workplace engagement specialist which works with organisations to measure, improve and recognise workplace engagement. They focus on ‘making workplaces better’ and work closely with organisations to measure engagement and share insights to improve cultures.
To achieve the accreditation, employees were invited to share feedback in areas such as leading and inspiring people, values and behaviours, managing performance, reward and recognition and continuous improvement.
Hugh Elrington, Managing Director at Barwood, said:
“Being awarded Silver accreditation, which only 15% of companies achieve, is testament to how we’ve put in place the right principles to help our people grow and develop.
“We’re incredibly proud that our well-established people practices have been recognised with this prestigious award, with employees in particular describing a culture of encouragement, inclusivity, and commitment.
“We recently held our annual company Strategy Day which involved the whole company coming together to celebrate successes, look back on what we’ve achieved and to look at what we need to focus on in the coming year. It’s great to see everybody come together to collaborate, communicate and feel as though we’re all part of one team.”
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Barwood Capital. Silver accreditation on We invest in people is a remarkable effort for any organisation and places them in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
